This project involved scratch repair on the right fender of a VOLVO VNL 860 I truck. Our technicians carefully sanded and prepped the damaged area, applied primer, and finished it with expertly color-matched paint for a seamless blend with the original white finish. Multiple layers of clear coat were applied and polished to restore a high-gloss, factory-quality appearance. All necessary steps were taken to ensure a smooth and professional result.

Our Solution / Process
We started by inspecting the Volvo VNL 860I truck’s exterior to pinpoint areas requiring surface repair and paint correction. Afterward, the team thoroughly cleaned, degreased, and sanded the entire vehicle, including the hood and side panels, to remove old paint, oxidation, and surface imperfections. All non-paintable surfaces, such as windows, mirrors, lights, and trim, were carefully masked to ensure full protection during the painting process. Panel edges and transitions were aligned and smoothed to ensure an even and uniform paint flow.
We then moved the truck into a controlled spray booth and applied automotive-grade primer and multiple coats of premium Volvo white paint using factory color-matching formulas. Finally, the painter applied a clear coat to enhance gloss and provide long-lasting protection. After curing, the vehicle was unmasked and polished to a flawless, high-gloss factory finish that met all client expectations for quality and appearance.
